Masala Bay are proud to be in the finals of the British Curry Awards.
The British Curry Awards was founded in 2005 and is now known as the “Curry Oscars”.
Masala Bay has been shortlisted for the prestigious awards, just months after serving up a win at the English Curry Awards.  The British Curry Awards received over 263,000 public nominations from all over the UK this year.

The results will be announced at a glittering black tie gala dinner at a sensational setting designed by the British Curry Awards at the Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park Lane, SW11 4NJ, on Monday 25th November starting.   The awards will be headed by celebrity hosts in a star studded ceremony.

Statements from the proud Masala Bay team:
Amad Uddin, Co Owner & Manager : “It feels amazing to be in the finals, words cannot explain how happy we are. This is only possible, thanks to our customers for their nominations and our amazing staff for working so hard and producing award winning Indian food. The British Curry Awards has one of the toughest selection processes, just to be in the finals is a remarkable achievement.  Whatever the result on the night, we will still enjoy a great night out in London.”

Zahid Rahman, Co Owner added: “We feel the secret to our success is that we are focused on food that gives customers the ultimate taste experiences.  The other main factor is we have staff that have been with us for many years, in an industry renowned for high staff turnover.  We look after our staff well and pay over the industry average.  Our head chef has been with us since 2003.  Finally we feel working with and being a part of the community is crucial. We have embraced social media and now have greater communication with our customers.  We regularly support our community and most recently agreed to sponsor local football club Jadon Blues FC.”

Bodrul Islam, Head Chef said “Masala Bay is always committed to producing quality dishes with the best ingredients. Apart from the traditional popular dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala, customers are becoming more adventurous and are always seeking out new and exciting flavours.  We try and add new dishes on a regular basis, the most popular dish at the moment is the Haryali served either with Chicken or Lamb, it is a spicy and hot dish, flavour packed and aromatic, designed to tickle all the senses.”
